The past week has been a big one for all of us. Not only did I turn 31 but Bailey accompanied us to our favorite sushi place to celebrate.
She was an angel - slept through the whole meal! She started fussing a little right as the check came but other than that, she was a doll (and has since been to a Mexican restaurant too!).
Mom and Bailey yawning in her pretty party dress (and matching bow held on with toothpaste)
Additionally, we survived Bailey's first road trip! She slept for most of the six hour car ride to Alabama last week and behaved so well for the few days we were there. For a child who typically doesn't do well with change, she took the constant shuffling between people and change of scenery in stride. My parents invited a bunch of their friends to come over for dessert and baby-viewing... here are a few shots of the party. A good time was had by all!

Lastly, Bailey had her two month checkup yesterday. Everything went well - she weighs 10 lbs, 11 oz and is 21 inches long (a little short but my side of the family has small people!). Her development appears to be right on track as well. She got the first half of her shots and we'll go back next month for the other half. And she only cried for a minute or two after the injection so it wasn't nearly as traumatic as I had expected. What a good girl!
The weather turned out nice here today so Nathan is off playing golf with some buddies and I'm debating getting a shower, going for a walk or heading to Gymboree for the sale they're having on baby clothes! Hope everyone is doing well!
