Truckin' along

Well, we had another failed attempt at taking Bailey to church today... Nathan and I decided that she is still just too unpredictable to try it yet. We might get lucky and she'd sleep through the service but more than likely she would pitch a fit and we'd have to leave anyway. So I stayed home with her and Nathan represented for us. Hopefully we can try again in two weeks - we really need to get back to church!

Here are a couple of photos we wanted to share. The one in her car seat is from a brief outing to Target the other night (she stayed in the car with Daddy while I ran in for supplies) and the other is her sleeping the bouncer with her head turned the right way! Her neck is definitely getting looser and she's looking to the left a lot more now that we are doing the stretches.

We are headed to Alabama later this week for a visit with my family and a dessert party with my parents' friends so they can meet Bailey. It will be her first road trip so we're keeping our fingers crossed that she can tolerate the six hour drive. We'll be travelling to North Carolina sometime in February to introduce her to the other side of the family (she still hasn't met her other aunt and uncle, cousins or great-grandparents). Let's hope she enjoys her car seat enough to get us there and back unscathed!

Finally, I will celebrate my 31st birthday on Thursday... 'nuff said. Hope you are all doing well!
