Baby, it's HOT outside!

Just a few quick notes from SC on this blistering hot summer day... the heat index is supposed to be 110 tomorrow!! We are staying inside as much as possible and trying to stay cool. But earlier this week, Bailey and I enjoyed a few days at the beach with my mom and sister. Even being six months pregnant, Katie looks great in a bikini (not fair... thank goodness Bailey's legs were covering my post-baby tummy).

Bailey got her feet wet in the ocean for the first time and seemed to love it. She'll probably turn out to be a little beach bum and want to go all the time.

It was a great visit with Jane and Aunt Katie - hopefully we'll get to do it again soon!

In other Bailey news, she's up to three words she will imitate - 'dada', 'uh-oh' and 'duck' (which really just comes out 'duh' but we know what she means). She deserves an Oscar for the fake crying she does to get my attention (save the drama fo yo mama). And she can stand up by herself if she has something to hold onto like the coffee table or the giant plastic alligator at the mall. She is really something else, I tell you. Nate and I just can't believe how fantastic she is.

Finally, we'd like to give a shout out to the King of Pop and express our sympathy in his passing. He will be missed. ;)
