We have teeth!!!!

That's right, Bailey is finally cutting her two bottom teeth! I can't wait to see how different she is going to look. Luckily, the process appears to be pretty painless for her and she's not drooling any more than normal. Maybe this teething thing won't be as bad as I'd anticipated!


Bailey has also decided to wean herself, so we're working on bottle mastery at this point. Since she has been breastfed since birth, she never had the need to learn how to hold a bottle. This is what happened when I gave it to her the other day:

Apparently she thought that shaking it up was necessary before drinking. Hilarious.

Things are going pretty well here. We've had a couple of cool weather mornings this week so I've taken full advantage and taken Bailey on long walks. We put up some Halloween decorations to get in the spirit of things and luckily she thinks the ghosts on the door are funny instead of scary (honestly, they are pretty freaky). We are looking forward to a visit to the pumpkin patch before too long and then trick-or-treating in Taylorsville with Nathan's family.
